Writing Stump

Yeah, it's been about a year or more since I added something here. But who really cares? I don't, at the very least.

Anyways, writing stump. If anyone sees this, this is an S.O.S. for helps to get me back into writing. I'm not sure exactly why I've been having such problems, but it's a problem. I do not want another 6 month interlude between writing. Maybe I just need a really good project. I have an idea, but...

Guess I just need to plant myself down and WRITE.

I don't know if this is an excuse to finally put something up or not, but either way, Happy Birthday to Theru, the Lord our Mod at the Train Station. *Clap, clap, clap.*

Something I'll be turning into my Journalism class tomorrow.  It's an opinion, the rough draft.

Disagree?  I challenge you to tell me why.

The best fantasy author there is, in my opinion, is Brandon Sanderson, author of Elantris, his e-novel Warbreaker, and the ongoing Mistborn Trilogy.  He is simply the author I admire the most at the moment and probably for a long, long time.

As for writing, here is my dilemma Ansem-senpai and Theru-senpai.  I need to revise Termination.  Badly.  How do I either a) resolve my problem or b) avoid completely disappointing readers and c) explain why I need to do so.

Yeah, doing this whole Haruna thing was a mess.  And I need to pick up the pace.  Stupid extra scenes that sneak into stories, someone needs to lock them up somewhere far away.

Yes, week of epic fail indeed.  Math failure, English failure, Science failure, and brain failure.  For once, I'm suffering from severe headache and exhaustion due to school.

Anyways, wrote something up, so...

As the title implies, my brain hurts and I am in pain... deep mental pain.  After such a nice topic (Happy Birthday again, Theru), I now have to rant about how much I lost in that one little notebook that I now have absolutely no idea where it went.  I lost Risc's backstory and much I don't remember...  T.T  Poor me.

Well, as I know only one person aside from you two FF guys read this journal (and she is my friend from my school), I think it is safe to put in here an announcement.

Happy Birthday Theru!  I know I am two days early (and that you might have put falsified information into your livejournal profile so the email I got notifying me of your birthday might have been false), but in case I can't get on the computer on the sixth, I'll congratulate you now.  Better early than late, eh?  Are you... uh, sixteen again this year or some other number in the teens?

On the subject of homework...

Why is it that I find myself ALREADY bogged down with homework so early in the school year?  THIS IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!  THIS IS GENSOKYO!  Er, lame usage of awesomeness but you know what I mean.

Is there some sort of conspiracy?  Freshman first week = homework free.  Sophomore first week = pre-lab and annotations of a four page short story.  Why does school fail T.T

Greetings from Hong Kong.

Just an update for what I've been working on.

First: Termination of Spirit (which name I will change when writing it) will NOT have a sequel.  Instead, I'll split it into 'books' and do it that way.  Also, I have completed about half of Chapter 9 (And it's already 6000 words... no!  Serac will kill me!  Not that he's caught up of course.) and have generally mapped out up to Chapter 13.  The Final Battle has been in and out of my thoughts for the whole day and I will dutifully jot down notes when i get the chance.  Unfortunately, I'll have to announce now that character development is not a biggie in Arc/Book 1.  What can you do in the timespan of a few weeks?

Second: The Series is on hold for a sec.  Not that anyone on LJ knows what I mean.  I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Third: I've decided to actually START my revisions of my fics over in the CCS fandom.

Fourth: To a certain someone, Tainted Fangs and Souls might have to wait.

Fifth: I've gotten through four arcs in Yggdra Union.  I recommend the game, it is really very good... if you're using an emulator and save states.

Priority Listing:
1 - Termination
2 - 'Series'
3 - Souls
4 - Revisions to Riot
5 - Tainted Fangs
7 - Continuation of Riot
6 - Revisions and Continuation to Ruler

Anything I missed?

Gone...

Well, I have an announcement to make.  It is simple really.  I'll be gone all of July 20th to August 22nd so I will not be around for awhile.  And... that's it.  Thanks for caring.  ^5 GP

As the title says, I have an announcement.  Unfortunately, those who are reading this already know everything that I will review.  I have a Fanfiction account.  Yes, that's right people: Fanfiction!  My profile as you all know - not including people I don't know - is Eternal Longing and here's a link.  http://www.fanfiction.net/u/833268/

Yeah, and if someone will teach me how to hide parts of a journal...  Just for curiosity's sake of course.

The Legend of the Thief King

  • Jul. 1st, 2007 at 10:04 PM

In the middle of the night,
A figure unnoticed by sight,
Visits those weary and those old,
Those sick and those cold.

Yet it steals not their possessions,
Instead collecting each soul,
Which it slips within a bag,
Till it's nearly overfull.

Then this giant bag it takes,
To a place filled with bright light,
Emptying out its contents,
Revealing an amazing sight!

The weary and the old,
The sick and the cold,
Had turned into youths,
Exuberant and bold.

They're still there to this day,
Each without a mark,
Happy and joyful,
Apart from the dark.

The Thief King may call soon,
But you should not fear,
For when comes that day,
For fear there's a cure,
If you accept him with trust,
A great day for sure!

Well... not that anyone other than one Ansem will read this, but here's a thanks to Tsutomu_Teruko for helping me save some fics I accidentally posted in the wrong place.  So there... and thanks once again, Theru... if you ever read this that is.
